Serkon Makina took its place at EgyStitch Cairo 2014, an event that shapes the textile industry across the Middle East and North Africa. Held at the Cairo International Convention Centre in the Egyptian capital, the fair connected the region's textile and garment machinery sector with international manufacturers.
In Egypt — a textile production centre for Africa and the Middle East thanks to its deep-rooted cotton tradition and strategic location — Serkon introduced its automatic fabric cutting, spreading and inspection machines to the regional market for the first time. Our stand attracted textile manufacturers and investors from Egypt and across North Africa and the Middle East. While meeting potential partners from new markets, we had the chance to assess the region's production infrastructure and investment potential at first hand.
