Serkon Makina took its place at GFT 2014, one of South-East Asia's important gatherings for textile and garment technology. Held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the fair brought the region's rapidly growing textile industry together with international machinery manufacturers and technology suppliers.
In Thailand, one of the ASEAN region's leading textile production centres, Serkon introduced its automatic fabric cutting, spreading and inspection machines to the South-East Asian market. Our stand attracted textile manufacturers and investors from Thailand and neighbouring countries. While meeting potential partners from new markets, we had the chance to assess South-East Asia's production capacity and investment opportunities at first hand.
GFT 2014 was a strategic step in Serkon's expansion into the South-East Asian market and a productive exhibition where we introduced the strength of Turkish engineering to the region's textile professionals.
